Those who have stretch marks should ..

feel free to wear a bikini!

I won't wear one until I am no longer pregnant and a comfortable weight- good weight. I don't get offended by other mom's stretch marks.

Sorry op, ur post has started a time warp, where the only comments u get are from the shitty girls we went to high school with. Ya see, when those girls don't ever develop personalities, the only hobby they become skilled at as an adult is putting down other women who show even the tiniest hint of confidence and self esteem.

Not being ashamed is fine. But to say you LOVE them?  Hmm.

I wear one. After seeing a 350 pound woman in a bikini, I knew my stretch marks couldn't be all that offensive.

Second paragraph is a wonderful statement!! It certainly makes you a much better person having an attitude like this.

Kudos momma, very well said.

I've never had a single issue with my body. The only reason I lost weight was to get in the army. Big girls can flaunt a bikini too, just maybe not a string one. My mom is a big girl. She has a gorgeous top that works like a good bra at holding the girls up and steady, then she pairs that with the swim shorts to get full booty coverage. She has never looked inappropriate, just bigger than me.

But hey, personally, I think our scars, stretchmarks, what have you, are just a story written on our bodies. They are not gross, bad, shameful, or anything. My stretchmarks say that my body worked hard to grace me with three wonderful children. I'm proud of my marks!
