My husband says being on PA makes him feel like dirt

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post

News to me! I thought he was happy we get so much help, and I get to raise my son, while all he has to do is go to school.

WHATever. He doesn't feel like dirt when I am paying for food, with ease, or when im buying movies and new clothes or going to new places with our son. He is on MY case, not the other way around...

He just needs to shut the fuck up, and finish school.

good grief.

Maybe because my military husbands hard earned money is being taxed and that tax money is being used to support ppl like you that have no real reason to be on PA. I guess being lazy is the only qualification. I'm pretty sure there is a such thing as night school. Both of you don't nneed to be home to raise your child.

Why would he work, if pa doesn't require it?

Quoting kaffedrikke:

Or he can get a part time job while in school.

What does being military have to do with anything? Everyone gets taxed.

I'm hoping so. This is ludicrous.

Quoting Luuckymommy:

I think this post is crap. I'm wondering if you are actually one of the people obsessed with other people getting PA and using this silly post to make a point about how you think people on PA are entitled and lazy? Sound right?

If people didn't respond that way, this post wouldn't be a bash post. Sound right?

I worked full time while finishing my last year of x-ray school, and I had a 2 year old and 8 hour a day clinicals. It freaking sucked. But, I did what I had to do. Just saying. *shrugs*

Maybe he should feel like crap. My husband would work 3 jobs before he ever let us go on assistance. We're too proud for that.
