Me and my hubby are watching the biggest loser on Netflix. The little one just fell asleep on daddy and my almost 3 yr old is laying in bed watching Jurassic park until he falls asleep. It's 1030 here.

He is trying he'll get a note bonus if he dose but he can't go full time i don't understand why the milirty is so confusing at times lol

Quoting 504bbymami:

Could he reinlist?

Sorry, like I said, I'm sure you've already thought of all this! Lol then all your medical stuff would be taken care of as well.

Quoting thehickinhickor:

He had one but his mine job and then big in the army reserves he was just not making anything because those too took up so much time. I'll come up with something just what and how i don't know but my mind is made up I'll get it done

Quoting 504bbymami:

Oh that sounds like such a tough situation! Hubby can't get a second job? I'm sorry, I'm sure you've already considered all of this, Im just trying to think. I really hope you can get it all figured out! (hugs)

Quoting thehickinhickor:

I am doing that now just not making what i need to my SO works but it's just not enough! i need savings it make me relax a lot more and i need my meds and new glasses i can't wait anymore. At least my kid dose not go without just sick of being stressed out I'll have to give up my disability tho that worries me there is a very real reason i am on it and working could make it worse but going without med can't be any better!

Quoting 504bbymami:

Oh man. That sounds stressful! I wish you luck. Could you possibly work from home?

Quoting thehickinhickor:

Laying in bed tryin to think of a way to get a job even tho i don't have a car and i am disabled and live in the country lol going to take some thinking and planning but i can't live on disability any longer can't even afford the med i need. My family is not going to be happy tho

Yeah my oldest used to do that too. No sleep apnea though, just pain in the butt syndrome...lol

Sorry can't cut quote trees on mobile :)

Quoting phoebe81:

Aww poor guy. I'm sorry :(. I don't think mine has sleep fragmentation but he does wake up in the middle of the night every night. He tries to play video games until I tell him to go back to bed.

Quoting coleysmama:

Basically, its broken sleep. He wakes several times a night with no cause.

His first sleep study lasted only 2 & 1/2 hrs and he had over 30 apneas and 74 (yep 74...lol) arousals from sleep.

We did sleep training, dietary changes, weighted blankets, sound machine, strict schedules, melatonin and nothing helped. It affected his health (mine too) and learning. Finally, had to make the hardest choice in my life and start him on meds.

Took 3 different meds before finding one that helps a bit. Still does not sleep through the night but he'll sleep a few hours in a row as opposed to waking every 20 mins all night.

Quoting phoebe81:

What is sleep fragmentation? I think my little has sleep apnea, but I'm not sure. We have an appointment with an ENT doctor on Monday.

Quoting coleysmama:

He has sleep apnea and severe sleep fragmentation. Sleep apnea did improve a lot after tonsillectomy but the sleep fragmentation is so bad that he is actually on a sleep med.

This is his 3rd study. We have one done yearly

Quoting phoebe81:

Why is your son having a sleep study? My little might need one too :(

Quoting coleysmama:

In a sleep center watching my 4yr son sleep while he's having a sleep study done.

I can't fall asleep because he keeps waking up trying to take the leads off his head.

This pic is from right before they wired him up.

Yeah I don't think the getting up is related. My biggest concern is the gasps and pauses in his breathing.
