But I feel like it would be setting a bad example for my 3 year old:( it just didn't turn out well and im exhausted. DS reallllly hates it, and i can't say i blame him.

Thats what we do when something doesn't turn out. Its rare but it happens.

Reminds me of my daughter's birthday a few years back. I attempted to make a castle cake (and I am NOT a creative baker by any means). It ended up sticking to the pans when it came out and it made a horrid mess. I was so irritated that I ended up throwing the cakes on the floor ... creating a bigger mess while my daughter just stared at me in shock. I went to the grocery store and bought one. I learned my lesson that day!
Can't make good stuff all the time! Order out!
