Would you wear a ring that was your dh's ex fiance's?

 If she left it behind and that was all he had(and she wasn't in his life anymore). Would you wear that ring or none at all? Would you expect a ring if you didn't want that one?

My husband sold his ring. It meant nothing to him anymore and when his ex asked if he wanted hers, he said no. Had he had said yes, I'd want to know why. Unless he wanted to pass it on to his sons or sell it then there really is no point in him having it.

As for myself, I'd want us to pick out our own rings symbolizing our marriage. I wouldn't want their rings. However, if the only choice I had was hers or nothing ... I'd choose nothing.
