My friends 2 mo old son has been admitted into the hospital with pneumonia and whooping cough!
She just text,me... Said the Dr said there's too much fluid in his lungs they are going to attempt to drain them. Its risky but ATM hes on a machine forcing him to breath because he cant.

I really hope he is okay. The Whooping Cough stuff is really scary.

That's terrible. Our pediatricians office really went on the offensive when my daughter was newborn. They were very careful with the kiddos and quarantining sick kids because of the whooping cough outbreaks. It's really hard on the very young.
It's sad to see steps backward in these things.
