Quoting mammabear18:Awesome!! I'll check that out. Thank you!!
I don't know...We got married at the courthouse at 11am on a Monday, then had an "open house" type reception at my parents' place afterwards. We just had ham sandwiches and vegetable platters from the local deli, meat/cheese platters, just lots of inexpensive finger foods for people to snack on throughout the day when they stopped by. And our cake of course.
When me and my husband got married we had a small wedding. We got married in my in laws backyard and had a party afterwards with family and friends at our local VFW hall. We had the food carter. My whole wedding was under a thousand dollars and my dad and my husband parent's help out and that including my wedding dress which it only cost 60.00 from Macy's. Crock pots are great because everyone can serve themself and you can make some great meals like meatballs, roast beef, sausage or pulled pork sandwhich, chicken or pork loin but also if you don't know what everyone likes you can have a varite of food and browe someone crockpot if you can.
Quoting marchantmom06:Ok first how many people are you serving?
Sit down or finger foods?
Children or no?
