yup, if you beat your child, I would have no issue beating you..

however, spanking is something completely different :D

Punch in the face for spilling milk or spank on the butt for trying to put a fork in a socket even after being told no. I think there is a huge difference.

Far enough. I am willing to agree to disagree on the issue of spank verses beat because this thread is more about the beating. As long as you spank not in anger but discipline I still disagree but no it's not the same.
