I'm sure he cares, he's probably ignoring you

Sometimes it's better for them to ignore and act like it doesn't bother them so that they don't have to hear it. For some husbands it's a no win situation with their wives, so they rather stay shut, walk away and act like nothing is wrong. Almost like a ticking time bomb for some. Women are more verbal and can be out there in your face, as men keep it in more. They will stay shut until the storm clears, because they know if they try and say anything the wrath will continue. But they care if you are mad because it effects them too, they just won't always say it

i dont think he even notices.

He may, but not reacting

Could he be depressed? That can have the effect of looking like he isn't noticing. Like a ho hum attitude. Some people show it more than others. It could also be how he was raised. So many men have grown up in a home that boys couldn't show emotions, can't cry, suck it up, be a man.. yadda yadda. This can be the outcome.

Yes.  He notices and asks me what is wrong.  He'll get upset if I keep saying "nothing" but sometimes saying "nothing" is better than starting a big fight.

Nope. He gets mad at me for getting pissed off at him and then I get even for pissed off, it's not a good cycle. He is just freakin clueless.

Yeah, though I haven't been mad at him much. He's said a couple off-handed comments at the wrong time. Lol
He follows me (because I just walk away) and apologizes. No big.
