Birth control pills: can it truly affect your behavior?
I am the type of person who tries to avoid prescription medication as much as possible and go the natural way if I can. And I have a pretty cheerful optimistic disposition and out look in life. Now, I've noticed that since I have started taking birth control pills (note: first time taking birth control pills; I'm 32 with first child) my behaviour has been a bit strange - quite moody, exhausted a lot, everything that I do is in an "all or nothing" category, and I start thinking in a kind of negative light (maybe slight depression?) Could all this be due to my taking these pills? Does it take a while for it to truly adjust to my bodies chemistry to find its balance? Or will it ever find a balance? I am hoping that this rollercoaster kind of behavior will some how come to a stop.
