Someone else paid my house payment!

I recently started a new bank account. I switched all my automatic payments over to my new account. Well, on the 27th, my first house payment got paid since opening the new account.

The problem is that the money didn't come out of my new account or my old account. I have waited several days and nothing has came out.

I think they charged my house payment to someone else. I emailed the bank yesterday and nothing. No response.

No, I'll figure out what has happened. Someone is missing a bunch of money though. They need to get it back to them.

It was probably a mistake. The person who accidentlypayed it for you will noticed sooner or ater and try to straightened out. The band probably doesnt even know about it yet. Maybe the person who payed ypurs hasnet noticed as of yet. So make sure you talk to you bank and see what you need to do now.

That would make me a nervous wreck until they figured out what happened.  I am sure someone will want their cash back.

well they probably taking that money back. Its just a myth that if you get money transvered to you account by accidet that you can keep it. Unless the person really just wanted to pay her house payment.
