What is wrong with mormons?

I see people hating on them in here, saying they are doing everything against the bible. My old neighbor was LDS and has said that everyone hates their religion unless you live in Utah (where she was from).

Then yesterday I was researching a city (relocating) and people were commenting and saying not to move there because of all the mormons.

So what is so wrong with mormons? I don't understand.

We can't have porn shops because of mormons, some businesses, where I live, close on Sundays because of mormons. We can't do anything here without the Mormons having a say. Grrrrrrr.

I don't think anything is wrong with them. To me it's just another religion. No different than Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Baptist, Catholicism, Jehovah's Witness, Christiany...you name it. I think all organized religion is crazy and odd, but that doesn't dictate what I think of a person as an individual. I don't see anything wrong with all the different beliefs in the world. If believing in what you believe in gets you through your days, then what's wrong with it? Being different, doesn't make someone wrong, it makes them different.

Here's the thing...there's a lot of secretive shit going on in the temples and nobody dares talk about it. And also...if the congregation decides that they don't like something (i.e. Polygamy) then they just change the rules. It's a cult.
