Question about girl left at School.

EDIT: RiotousDigits' link helped clear it up for me. I was misinformed on how long she was in there. I can't believe she was left in there at all.

The School is wrong for losing the child.

BUT why did it take so long for dad to get to school? Why wasn't someone there to pick her up at the end of class, and notice she wasn't with her friends?

If the school was completely empty and locked up, it's not like he was there 10 minutes late. She was locked inside 3 hours!

Can you give more info about the story, what happened? Or post a link?

It's hard to comment without knowing what in the heck you are talking about.

A man comes to pick up his daughter from school, around 5pm, it's completely locked up. He calls mom, and a teacher teacher comes back to school. They heard the little girl crying so dad broke a window to get her out. She was hiding because she had had an accident and was embarrassed. The Schools excuse was they have grandmas signature signing her out.

But why wasn't someone there picking her up on time?

Maybe grandma was suppose to pick her up or maybe she walks home or was suppose to be with friends but the other mom didn't know.
Its so easy to have a miscommication with kids.

Okay there seems to be a lot not adding up in this story. The dad doesn't come till 5 oclock? He needs to be answering that question. and how the hell did the school get grandma's signature if she never really picked the kid up? Sounds like a lawsuit to me! smh

She's 3. I highly doubt teachers are aloud to let her walk home alone.
