My DF's check tomorrow will be 2600.

mine is 500.

 

he gets paid in two weeks about 1500 also on the 18th.

you get 1000 more this month. 15th and 25th.. 500 each.

 

your bills for the entire month are 2700.

 but DF wont get paid for FOUR weeks After the 18th.

 

would you pay ALL the bills you could THIS week with the 3100 (leaving 500 out for luxury and travel since he works out of state) and then pay the rest later

or would you just pay them as they come due?

 you should leave yourself some emergency cash just in case, letting one bill or two slide till the next one.

I would .pay the majority of the bills, especially the ones that cant wait (elect, phone, house..) And save some for living.

I pay everything I possibly can when the money comes in, then have fun later on if I have extra.

I pay when they come due.  But I don't spend the money in the checking.  I also float this way I don't worry about being short.

I WAS THINKING... take 2300.. and pay the majority. that leaves us with 800 until the 15th, when I get paid another 500 form work, and another 250 from a At home business I do part time, and use 250 of THAT and pay another bill or two, then he gets paid on the 18th, about 1500, save back 500 for travel since hell be leaving town again this month. Use the other 1000 of his to pay the final 150.
