Yep, and if they can afford it, who cares!

I agree. I'm a sahm and I clean my own home but I have thought about having a cleaning company come in twice a year to deep clean. I don't find keeping my house clean to be all that hard, in all honesty. And, I'm a neat freak.

I have a housekeeper. She comes every other Friday. I have three kids, 9, 6&6, and when I'm not in school I'm a SAHM (semester is almost over). It works for my family, it works for her family, but it's not for everyone, obviously.

Nope. She stays at home. She can clean the house. It's not hard

I see nothing wrong with it. I have a friend who is a sahm who has a live-in nanny, so if the funds are there why not?

Sounds like she's doing her part to stimulate the economy.  If she can afford it why not, it could mean more time with the kids.  I don't belong to the Church of the Latter Day Martyr Mommy!
