this is offensive but this is not???

Why is this considered offensive and oppressive

but not this

I am just curious because these are some of the thing people say, i even heard one woman say (on this site) it was unamerican of these women (wearing the hijab, specificaly) to be covered.  Both dress this way as a choice and are not forced to (if they are its a culture thing), both believe in the God of Abraham. There are more similarities than  differences when compared UNBIASLY.

A guess?? The first is forced by the men in the culture and 2nd they chose to wear this themselves? Nuns do not have to wear a habit now days.

The hijab is not a "christian" culture??? IDK...........

Hmm, never considered that comparison.  But I don't find the hijab offensive or unAmerican.  It is a religious garment, nothing more.

I swear if that were me there would have been a lawsuit filed on that bitch. Ugh that pisses me off for you. And I went to catholic school.

Quoting Mrz.Anaya:

I picked my nephew up from catholic school once wearing my hijab of course and the teacher was so rude to me. When i left she called my sister in law and asked her not to send me to pick him up again. Yeah i was hurt.
