My DF went to a doctor appointment for a high blood pressure medication check up and refill....and the doctor asked him if I was on birth control when she was going over his online questionaire.

Its not random. Some blood pressure medications can get into his sperm, and if his levels are high enough, they can cause issues to a newly fertilized Egg.

my mom had already had a hyst. yrs ago.. but when my dad went on HBP med's they asked him the same question and he asked why that would matter.. ^ thats the answer he was given.

If you have high blood pressure you're not supposed to take both control. It can raise your risk of blood clots, which can be deadly

I take blood pressure meds and you absolutely cannot get pregnant while on them. It can cause birth defects, infant death, miscarriage and a host of other problems. Not all bp meds do that but mine does. I would look into it further and change his meds if there is any chance at all of you getting pregnant.
