Crying baby in the store

When you see a mom pushing her baby along in a store while the baby cries and yet she doesn't pick up her child, what do you think? Does it bother you or do you shrug it off?

My oldest was a crier unless he was nursing until he was 3 months old, so I can relate to a mom whose baby might be inconsolable and she has sh*t to do.

I think it's time to go home.

What if that is the only time they could squeeze in to shop?

Btw, I didn't have a huge crier but I sympathize with those who do.

I don't pay much attention, but sometimes I feel for the mom cause I've been there.

I do sympathize too. I don't think much about it really(like judgmental) but I do feel bad for the mom.

I try not to let it bother me but there was one incident that did kind of touch a nerve.

This woman was shopping around with her brand new baby in her car seat - the baby couldn't have been more then just a couple of weeks old. The poor thing was screaming HYSTERICALLY! I dunno if she was hungry, if her little tummy was hurting, I obviously do not know the reason for her cries but hearing her cry just broke my heart. And the baby only got louder, To the point where I could hear her cries from across the store.

The poor child obviously needed something but the mother simply ignored it to shop. Well...alright-e then! Something I deff would not do but...I guess I can't say anything, its not my child. Poor thing!

I think

"Sounds like that baby needs some attention"
