Putting on club music and dancing around the room, pointing at him and shaking my bum. He laughs hysterically and kicks his legs and throws his arms up!
It's one of the only ways I can keep him calm when he's cranky. LOL

How do you distract your LO's and stop them from throwing a fit??
My DS is 5 months old!

Haha my DD is 4 months, I do similar things to get her out of a bad mood. Dancing around and singing like a crazy person. I might look silly, but it makes her smile :)

When they are having a meltdown, the thing that helps is putting in an elmo dvd and sitting perfectly still on the couch with them through the WHOLE movie. Sheesh....the things we do to make them happy.

Lol! I remember living with either the blow dryer, vacuum, or bathroom fan on. Something about that white noise usually was enough to calm him down!

My girls like that too. They are terrified of the vacuum but as long as they are sitting on the couch, they love to watch me vacuum the living room. They get a kick out of my dog attacking the vacuum as I'm trying to do it as well.

I sing to my dd to calm her down. I remember when she was 13 months and she stayed the night with her aunt, I got a phone call and had to sing her to sleep.

This just reminded me of that episode of friends where ross sings baby got back to his baby girl just to see her laugh. I had to sign and sing the abc song to my baby when he was 6 months and he would stop crying.
