i love kids. especially strange or weird ones. hell my own are odd. well on top of my 3 i have taken on my friends kid (who is currently staying with us) and my nephew is here when he is not in school. my sd14 has decided she wants to move back in (i had to promise we wernt leaving the state) and i have a feeling that my other sd11 bm is gonna drop her on our doorstep by the end of the year. i dont mind it. it keeps me happy. i love having all the kids around. it does get to be too much sometimes (we had the now infamous halloween snowstorm last year and we were one of the only areas with power. i had a total of 11 kids in my house for 2 weeks) but i still enjoy it. i told dh that i would like to get to a point where we can buy a big ass house and adopt a few screwed up kids.(the ones that stay in the system cuz no one wants to deal with them) idk. my mom thinks im crazy for taking on all these kids. ill tell you what though, life is never boring.
Props to you for caring for so many children that are in need of someone special like you! I could never do it..but if you are happy than that makes for a happy home! :)
i spend more time laughing at them than mad. even when i get mad at them most of the time i cant help but to laugh too (its hard to punish them if you cant stop laughing long enough) they are so weird and random they never fail to make me think "wtf!!!" my dd especially. i cant take her into a chinese resturant. she orders cat everytime. they look at me and her in horror meanwhile i have my head down trying not to crack up. somethings you cant help but to laugh at. my ss10 is adhd so its never boring with him, my dd is being evaluated for add, my nephew is autistic, and my 18mo, well hes just a bucket of laughs. my friends kid is difficult. hes 9 and a smart mouth. im working on him lol he will learn some respect if it kills me lol my 4 nephew included are just so weird sometimes people ask me whats wrong with my kids. like dd. in art they had to draw a pic of their family..... she did, but she made us all zombies lol they wanted to put her in therapy for it lol my ss turns everyone into werewolves and my nephew, well he just fits in great here lol
