My ex and I went to his attorney's office a week ago to try to come to an agreement on custody of our 4 year old daughter. We ended up leaving with no established agreement. Today I got a custody order in the mail saying we had come to an agreement that we had joint physical and legal custody of her and would share her every other week. This is exactly what I would not agree to yet they filed it without my signature. I didn't sign anything at all that day and now we have an order signed by a judge. What can I do without paying an attorney?
Edited to add: the ex is threatening to call the cops because I won't give him my daughter today! Can police enforce a court order that doesn't even state when the agreement starts or who has her what week??? Thought you had to file something and take the person to court in order to find them I contempt? I've never heard of police enforcing it on a situation like this. HELP. :(
