What are your expenses for a fortnight?

Posted by   + Show Post

Without worrying about where the money comes from, because I honestly don't care if you are on PA/FS or whatever, where does your money go fortnightly (I understand most of you do monthly, but please reply fortnightly so I can compare better). I sort of want to compare my expenses australian wise to american wise. I understand things are different but I think it would be interesting.

There are 3 in my family, but we live with MIL and her fiance.

Fortnightly:

$300 board
$33 nappies (diapers)
$32 Formula
$30 diet shakes/health bars
$60 cigerettes
$20 clothes (me, DH and DD)
$15 baby panadol/nurofen
$30 toiletries
$40 debts/money owing

That' all I can think of, so what about you?

Our bills monthly are around $1800, split in half, $900. With any additional maybe $1100 total every 2 weeks.

Shit that seems like a lot!

Yeah, when you put it like that :) What does it go into?
