I think regret and guilt are the worst emotions to deal with when thinking about the past.

My life is good. Some parts of it weren't great, but then I think about my parent's lives both childhood, and adult. That makes me remember how lucky I am.

Dated someone for two years who emotionally abused me on a daily basis, my mom was kind of a whore and left me with some pretty traumatizing situations I'm still trying to overcome, got kicked out in febuary literally because of a small argument my so and I had, by ourselves that had nothing to do with anyone else: because of this my blood pressure was raised too high and could've caused big problems for my baby, but I never went to the hospital to check it out...so regret on my part about that.

Not much on my end, but yeah.

My parents passing before I got a chance to know them.

My gran passing, just this year.

School. Just school.

Getting attacked by a dog.

Malaria. Three times.

Some really insane and harmful relationships in my early 20's.

Hell, my general insanity on and off between the ages of 12 and 24. Becoming a parent by surprise kicked me into shape really quickly, but who knows where I'd be if she hadn't come into my life.

I don't really have regrets. I've done a shitload of stupid things, but they've all led me to where I am now and I like where I am now.

1. I can do nothing about: being raised by a narcissistic mother.
2. Choosing to stay stateside for 1 yr vs. Oki, Japan for 2 yrs w/ our 1st born.

NEVER underestimate the power of the bond between father & child!!!!!!!!!!!

That I would undo, ... if only I knew better.

20 yrs later, that bond is still weaker compared to the four younger siblings. I 've seen the difference it makes.

I was molested and I felt for a longtime it was my fault. Ilet people walk all over me. I stood up to my mom and it lifted everything off my shoulders. I regret not standing up for myself sooner.
