Insurance questions!!!

First of all, how many in your family?

How much do you or your hubby make and how much does your insurance cost each month? Also, what's your deductable, and do you have copays as well?

I'm going to find out (hopefully today) about what kind of insurance my employer offers, so I am scared I won't be able to afford it. I'm hoping to get an idea of how much I could be paying (for me and my 2 children). Last year when I worked for the school corporation, I was offered insurance that was $200 every two week with a $3500 deductable (yearly for me) and $6000 yearly deductable for each of my kids... smh.. I only made $700 every two weeks after taxes!

I hope I get something like that. Is it just for him, or him and kids?

we pay $36 every week.Employer picks up the rest. We have $1500 deductible. We have $20 co pays. This is for a Family Plan. My husband and my combined wages are six digits.

Surround yourself with people that add to your life not subtract from it.

wow that's cheap!! I hope to get a plan like that. Right now, I'm making around $35000 a year. So I don't make much. :(

Just him. It is an extra $100 per child every 2 weeks. It's Blue Cross Blue Shield.

My husband is military. We dont have co pays. When I taught I dont even remember how much insurance cost me, but co pays were low. I cleared about 1700 every two weeks.

128 every two weeks for 3 people. (Dh, ds, and me) Allthough the cost would stay the same for more kids.... 250 deductible. 10 co pay for doctor, 20 for specialty, and 50 for er...

We are a family of 4.

I'm a SAHM. My husband brings home around $2600.00 a month.

We don't have insurance on me or him because we simply just can not afford it and the insurance they have is really crap anyways. We have Peach Care for Kids on our children which is a form of state insurance but we pay a small amount each month for it.

When we did have insurance through his work it was nearly $200 a week (he gets paid weekly). It just got to the point we just couldn't afford it and we dropped it.
