I breastfed my friends' baby *Edit* ~Last Edit~

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post

I used to watch my best friends' daughter from 7am until about 5pm from the time she was 6 weeks old until she was almost 1. At the time, I had a son that I exclusively breastfed. My friend would bring her daughter over every day with her bottles and formula and instruct me on how often to feed her and how many ounces and such. I would listen attentively and then completely disregard everything she just told me and I'd breastfeed her all day along with my son. I thought she would ask why her formula wasn't disappearing, but she never did, so I just kept doing it and never told her. I made sure to find out in casual conversation if she had any kind of allergy to make sure I wasn't going to harm her and she didn't. I figured, what harm could I be doing right?? I was saving her some money and making her daughter healthier while I was at it.

For all of you who think this is a troll post, it's not. It is 100% true. I don't know why I'd make something like this up.

For those of you who think I sexually assaulted her baby, breastfeeding is not a sexual act and I think you're perverted for thinking it is.

For those of you who would kill me or cut my breasts off....ummm you're calling me crazy?!? Take a look in the mirror.

Lastly, for those of you who understood that I was trying to do a good thing and just went about it the wrong way by not talking to the mom, thank you!! Your kind words meant a lot to me :-)

After almost 400 replies I have answered every question imaginable. I'm done replying to this post because I have other responsibilities to take care of. If you're curious about anything, just read through the replies and I'm sure you'll get your answer. Thank you and have a nice day :-)

That lady is discusting. It is never appropriate to whip out a boob and put it in anyone's face, even a baby. ( unless it is your baby)

That was not right because that was something personal. Regardless of what people say. You have crossed the line. Bottle feeding breastmilk and putting your breast in the baby mouth is to far. I know breastfeeding is okay. But does not make what you did acceptable by any means.

1 mom liked this
Sweet. My friend bfed my son when my dad died. We had kids the same age and I didn't want to take a 3 mth old to the funeral, she volunteered to keep him. I forgot to grab formula on the way to her house so, she asked if she could bf and I said yes! She took such good care of him and I'm forever grateful she did that!!
It was not sexual in any way...she was just doing what a mommy does and fed the baby.

Why risk it though? Doesn't your actual family matter! Plus men cheat. You are so dense.

There's no way for me to have an std. My husband and I are each others first and only partners. How could I go to jail for this? It was 6 years ago and I'm the ONLY one who knows I did it. There's no way for anyone else to ever find out.

Quoting Coca.Cola:

Ok if you had an std you could pass it to the child. That is the main concern. Stop calling her your friend as well. You are not a friend to her. What you did is a criminal offense. Why are you willing to go to jail for this child? Doesn't your own child having his mother around matter to you?

And??  My older sister breastfed my DD because I couldn't.  I had a nephew 11 days older than DD so it worked out perfectly..

I am a breastfeeder...exclusive at that. And we are still going at 21 months BUTTTT if I had found out about this after the fact instead of giving consent up front then our friendship would be null and void.

If you are so sure it would have been ok with her then why didn't you just ask and/or tell her!? What was the reason she chose to formula feed anyway? I'm sure there was a reason and I'm sure that if she knew you were breastfeeding and wanted her baby to have breastmilk she would have asked your ass. Bleh.

So you forced your bodily fluids on another womans baby. You're absolutely sick.
