Dh and I qualify for food stamps. We could greatly benefit from them. However, I don't want to be compared to all the skeezy trash that abuses the system. We've just hit rough times and are sticking it out until things get better.

The OP is still feeding her kids. She doesn't NEED them, she just qualifies for them. Huge difference .

Dont worry about what people think or say about you you are going through a rough time if you need government assistance than do so people will judge you regardless
