Do you form opinions of parents based on their child's behavior?

Let's say the kid is an out-of-control violent brat? Or let's say the kid is a friendly, polite, happy child? Do you make assumptions about what kind of parent the kid must have? Do you think a kids behavior directly reflects how good or bad their parents are?

I do make assumptions based on that, even though I know it's not necessarily true...

It depends. But I think that nature has way more to do with anyone's behavior than most people care to admit.

Yep I do. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree in my opinion.

I do mostly.. but some kids are just bad, but if they are disrespectful and cuss then I do blame the parents because they must see or hear it some where.

It depends on how often I'm around them. If it's a one time thing with a stranger, no way. But if it's someone I'm around all the time and their kid is always crazy, or always good, then yeah.
