I just slapped my husband across the face

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
I've been in a pissed off mood all day. No one ever helps me clean the house and I'm sick of it. Well he was rushing me to cook dinner before he went to work. While I was cooking he comes up behind and slaps me across my ass so hard. I got mad and turned around and slapped him. He cussed me out and went to work without eating. The kids were outside so they didn't see it. I'm not usually like that but man he has been pushing my buttons.

lol afterwards, he punched a nice hole in the kitchen wall. thankfully, it was not my face.

Quoting WhitleyLyles:

in that case kick him in the balls. Cause him some pain. Not spit on him silly.

Quoting Anonymous:

got in my face, pinned me against a wall, and shook me.

Quoting WhitleyLyles:

spitting is the epitome of disrespect... what did he do to you?

Quoting Anonymous:

I spat in my DH's face before. He got in my face for the LAST time.

It is your own fault for allowing him to rush you. NOT regarding him slapping you, but by pushing our buttons. I believe in eye for an eye and I would slapped him hard in the balls. However MY so is not malicious and can tell him when his behaviour is too aggressive. And it doesn't happen again. Never hit anyone in the face unless you ar protecting yourself from a threat.

Isn't that abuse or assault or something?

It was a hard full force slap. It hurt. To me it's the same thing just a different location. I admit we were BOTH wrong.

Quoting Two_Hearts:

I am confused ...most of the woman so far are saying how it is wrong that you slapped him in the face...yes slapping him in the location that you did was a bit harsh.

however ..from your post he didnt gently tap your ass either. He physcially hurt you.

So i guess my question to the woman basically saying that O.P was totally in the wrong ...why is it ok for him to hit her ?
