my neighbor accused me of being an escort or hooker

weve lived in our new house for 6 weeks. ive spoken with 3 neighbors the whole time. im almost 8 months pregnant and my df has been offshore the whole time (since morning after unloading uhaul)

well theyve seen me come and go all the time leave early in morning return between 6 and 10pm.

i seen one of the kids that was coming over frequently to play with ds (i don know which neighbors kid it is) and i asked why she hadnt come over lately (shs maybe six or seven) and she said because mom thinks your an escort and said she doesnt want us around that. (theres NO WAY this kid new what that was)

my df just got home wednesday, other than my moms car or truck there have been no other vehicles at my house the whole time!

i didnt know what to say soo i just laughed an said absolutely not.

i dont know what to do! any idas?

ETA: APPARENTLY THIS MADE FEATURE POST 12 HOURS AGO (1030AM) IVE BEEN AT FAMILY FUNCTION WITH DF ALL DAY SO I JUST FOUND THIS OUT...IM TRYING TO REPLY TO YALL I AM! BUT IT WILL TAKE ME SOME TIME!

ok....while reading ive seen the same question numerous times..so to clear it up

1. i dont know which kids belong to which houses..yet. so i dont know who the mom is that said this

2. i wear makeup ONLY on sundays going tO CHURCH

3. i dont wear shorts, skirts, capri's or gauchos and rarely ever wear tank tops...im almost always in jeans, tshirt and flip flops with my hair in a bun
FOR WORK-I wear maternity jeans, steel toed boots, and a mechanics uniform top, w/ name of my company AND my name.

 

4. im a 219lb 5'5 8 mo pregnant woman, so sexy,hot, provocativ, and drop dead gorgeous are not things i would say about myself, im nothing to be jealous of.  I come home covered in grease/oil 5 days a week!

5. i work outside of home monday thru friday 730am to 530pm ( i manage a mechanic shop), plus 1 hours drive time there and back..i run a part time business outside of home( It works! Body wraps and supplements.. home parties.. NOT at MY home), and train people once a week on how to coupon (we meet at the local pizza hut. NOT my house)

6. ive only met 3 neighbors, 1 complained about my grass needin cut the morning after we moved in, 1 came looking for their kid, 1 asked if i wanted to go n on an ad in the paper for garage sales.

 

7. My DF works offshore in the oil industry, he operates ROV's, pretty much, he plays with robots, under the ocean, for a living.. mostly in foreign countries, he works 4-6 weeks offshore, and comes home for 2-4 weeks, then goes back out.

8. My 4yr old ds is with me 4 out of 5 mornings when I leave for work and he's with me all weekend long every other week. I have my OWN vehicle, and I DO NOT get rides from coworkers. I do, however, work with 5 guys, NO girls.

 

ok, I believe I got thru everything.. SOME OF YOU HAD ME AND MY DF CRACKING UP! he seems to think this is hilarious. I am going to find out WHICH house the lil girl belongs to and try to get to the bottom of this. I have until the 21st for DF to help me with this, otherwise it will have to wait until he gets home again (he'll be gone for 4 weeks starting may 21st)

I think I answered everyones questions to the best of my ability... the 8 most common questions are answered ABOVE ^^^^

wow! idk.....i wouldn't say anything to her unless you know for a fact that you could change her mind. but i doubt that. i would just ignore it. you laughing it off is exactly what i would have done. 

it doesn't matter what she thinks of you. she obviously doesn't know what goes on in your life. she seems sick in the head just because you leave early in the morning and come home during the evening. and honestly, no offense to you but what women in her right mind would even think that you are a escort when your 8 months pregnant!?!?! really?? i don't know alot of men who are into having sex with a pregnant women unless the man is married or exclusively with that particular ONE women, KWIM.

My neighbors were nosey like that. Dh worked in drilling and would be gone for weeks. One day one of our neighbors walked his dog right in front of my house and walk back to his LOL. He lives two houses away and he never walks the dog. He would look towards my house. I was outside my porch talking to bil about my car. I thought it was hilarious LOL.
