Do pain killers mess with your sex drive?

My dh was prescribed them because he was really sick and we didn't have sex for a week, which is a long time for us and it took him much longer to finish. Is this from the pain killers? He has not did anything else.

Not with my DH. He takes painkillers every night, usually 6-10. But it might be because they are prescription, you may want to inquire with the doctor who prescribed them.

I know too much alcohol can make it harder for a guy to orgasm, and antidepressants can too. I don't see why prescription pain killers couldn't. It probably depends on the type, strength, and person. Some people react to certain meds differently - for instance, when I was on Tylenol 3 after having two impacted wisdom teeth extracted it gave me a headache that was FAR worse than any jaw pain I'd been feeling. A pain killer put me in more pain...go figure, right?

It can numb you enough that orgasism takes longer.
