Caused a misscarriage?

Have any of you ever purposely caused a miscarriage, and how did you do it? Some girl I met today told me that she had purposely cause herself to miscarry with her last pregnancy but didn't tell me how she had done it. So I'm curious how often this actually happens and how you can cause yourself to do it?

Edit- I'm asking you guys as real women, sure I could google it and find answers. I wanted opinions from real women, not internet sources. As for me wanting to do this myself, you are wrong! You are obviously going to believe what you want so go ahead. I am pregnant with my 5th baby and have never had thoughts of aborting any of my babies.

Now I wonder how you view an abortion differently from a purposed miscarriage?

I did as a scared teen. I was 18 and had just moved out on my own. I had a boyfriend that demanded sex from me and would pin me down at times. I guess you would call that rape. 
I found out I was pregnant and took a couple bottles of pills. I miscarried within a week.

Vitamin C can cause miscarriages, along with black cohosh and some others.
