My friend found out more infos

that there might be something wrong with her baby..

They told her today that the baby has some sort of cyst on the brain..

there are 3 possiblities

1) it goes away

2) baby wont make it

3) down syndrom..

I feel soo sorry for her and I cant really do anything for her since I live so far way.. :(

 

info: My friend did not tell me what kind of cyst it is.. so idk..

She wont go back for another ultrasound 2D for till mid june..

Believe me the doctors can scare the crap out of ! I was high risk my son had a heart defect and also had down syndrome. Those doctors stole my happy pregnancies with there assumption about who my boy would be ! I doubt they ever met a child with downs ! My son was pure joy !

Idk what its called might they talking trysomie 18 or trysomie 21

Was the name Choroid Plexus cyst?

If so my youngest 3 had them. With dd3 when they found them they made a huge deal about it and freaked me out pretty bad. I did some research the day we found out and found out the exact thing that you listed. We opted for the amnio and it came back good but still they didn't know if she would live 100%. I had u/s every 2 weeks until they disappeared when I was 37 weeks. My little girl is one of the most amazing girls I have ever met! She is super smart and beautiful. With dd4 they didn't even tell me she had them. Ds had them too but the doctor said they would more than likely disappear and they did.

too far and abortion is out of the question for her.. so Im not pushing the subject her child, her body, her decision

I'm so sorry your friend is dealing with this.  :  (  I will be praying for her and her family that the Drs. WILL be able to tell her on the next ultrasound that there is NOTHING wrong with her baby!!!  {{HUGS!!}} And please--keep us posted!!
