If you believe Genesis, that Eve came from Adam's rib, wouldn't they share identical DNA? If so, Eve would have been a man, therefore God did create Adam and Steve, right? And if God somehow changed Eve's DNA, then wouldn't God be ok with genetic modificaton and cloning?

No. That's NOT right. God created a WOMAN, and says so in the Bible. She and Adam didn't share dna, how ridiculous is that? Good grief. Stop trying to justify something that's against God's will.

Eve may have come from Adam's rib but that doesn't mean she was a man. God created her as a woman, despite that. I don't think genetic modification and cloning would have anything to do with Christian belief. What you're thinking about might be EVOLUTION, which that is not. I'm no Biblical scholar, however.

While its possible that adam n eve share same dna I wouldnt think they actually do. Cuz that to me would mean they r identical twins. And with them procreating that in turn would mean cain n able r cousins and brothers.

But how did she get her XX chromosomes spliced from the XY dna?

So...

he magically made a person out of a rib, but can't stop  children from dying? But you're right...it certainly ISN'T evolution....at least Evolution makes SENSE.

If Eve came from Adam's rib, she would have been spliced from his DNA. That would be cloning. The genetic modifying would be mutating genes to give her XX chromosomes from his XY DNA. Not evolution.
