I am the head of me. My children govern themselves (12,14) and my dh is the head of himself.

We all work. I work full time and so does dh. My children work their butts off at school.

We all discuss what we're eating, we all do chores, we all pitch in.

I'm a SAHM.  I guess I run this house.  I do everything required to keep up the house and keep it running.  I get everyone everywhere.  I schedule everything.  I take care of everyone.  People don't call DH to make plans, they call me to make sure we can make it, because DH doesn't know anything that's going on around here, he just wants to be told what to where and what time to be ready.  He makes the money, but I pay the bills.  He has no idea what comes in and out of this house or how much is in which savings accounts.  I run big decisions by him, but he doesn't care.  He's seen what the job is like to be in charge and running shit, and he certainly doesn't want it.
