After a super fun day of school parties that i attended, and then taking her to the park afterwards, i asked her to get her room clean and wash up for dinner. She looked at me and said "No" hmm..okay.. Several minutes later she asked for a plate of food, and i looked at her and said "No". If it isnt clean by bed time tonight then i guess she isnt eating!
*update- The room is now clean, her hands are washed, and she is now sitting down at the table eating dinner. Thanks :)

Oh for the love of glitter and tutus, going to bed without supper isn't going to kill the kid or put her in long term therapy. Her mother told her to clean her room and she is being flat out defiant. In my house, defiance like that would earn my ds a sore ass on top of a grumbling tummy all night

Perhaps withholding food...especially after a busy day....isn't the best way to enforce discipline. Why not take away the phone....or Internet....or tv?

Yeah, depriving your child of food is abuse!! Id try another way of punishing her for not listening before someone reports you!!!
if she is hungry enough, she will clean her room and come to the table.

I don't use food as punishment.... Just curious how old is she?
