Did you or would you spend $10,000 on a wedding? Between my parents, us and his parents we have close to that for the wedding but I don't think we will come close to that

I am not being rude so please don't think that. Nowadays $10,000 is nothing for a wedding Many are $30-40 grand.

My first wedding cost us about $1500. My dress was $150 and I put it on layaway, we had a cute little chapel pre decorated. Took pics with a basic camera and my brother in law paid for us to eat at a nice restaurant.

My second wedding cost $120. But we are going to Vegas on our 5 year to renew our vows and have fun!

My husband and I spent around $1,200. We had a small beach wedding which the venue was free(thank you Clearwater Beach), and just did an appetizer reception, I made our cake. It was beautiful!

WOW  no way!  We spent MAYBE $250 total! BUT we had  great support from family and friends.  My dress was made by my sister, the cake gifted to us by dhs aunt, venue dontated by my dads church, decorations my mom bought, food i made.
