I'm trying to come up with a coming home outfit for my daughter and coming up short. My grandma made her this dress because I love skulls and it was a compromise since I didn't get the skull themed nursery I wanted.

What do you think about this being a coming home outfit?

Lol, I think "coming home" outfits are kinda lame and ridiculous. It's a newborn. My kids "came home" in a diaper, hat, cotton socks, and a plain fleece gown. Nothing special. Their comfort is more important to me than some silly, frilly outfit.

That being said, it's your kid, dress them in whatever you want.
