We keep some stuff, but most of it gets thrown away. I have some artwork from the kids I am going to frame and display, but I don't want the clutter from keeping every scribble they ever made.

My dd's last day of pre-k is today, ahhh! I'm not ready!! She's growing up so fast. My youngest is also 9 months today. And my oldest is about to be a 6th grader. o.O

Thank you very much. There is no make-up on her in that picture, or any of the family pictures that were taken of her. Sometimes we put make-up on at home, but not really out in public. She has had make-up on for her recital, but that was required. She needed to be wearing pink lipstick and blush.

I think that make-up use is OK though. It is fun for LO's at that age. As long as you don't say things like "let's make you look pretty", you should be fine. It is when we associate the use of make-up with making one pretty, that we make children think that they need make-up to make them beautiful. Make-up should be for fun....... I know that is what I use it for.

Quoting Poppymary:

simply adoarable little girl and a future daddy's nightmare I can tell, but why make up on such a tiny girl? They are cute on their own at that age. jmho :)

Quoting mylovey:

We have all of her work hung up in her playroom (this is her first year), but we will take it down before she starts 4K next year. We will save the good stuff, and throw away the rest. :)

It gets out of control. I only have 1 in school right now but come fall I'll have 2. I can't imagine keeping everything for more than 1 kid!! Plus, out house was built in 1932 and has one...yes, ONE!!...closet. I'm not stuffing my dressers and armoires with papers!

Quoting sunfireprincess:

Yeah. I keep special things like mother's day cards or nicely made pictures from school, or hats. Most drawings and paintings I throw out. I hate clutter.

Quoting cmkahn:

You HAVE to!! I keep the projects and artwork for her scrapbook. I can't keep every little worksheet she does!!

Quoting sunfireprincess:

Yeah you are a bitch lol jk. I throw away some of it to avoid clutter
