to get married? I think they should but in light of the recent gay rights debate I think it is an interesting question to pose. I have read in many posts that if we let homosexuals marry we will not be able to draw the line . People will marry their dogs , their toasters, their children and in multiples. So I have come up with an equally insane post. If we do not allow homosexuals to marry where do we draw the line? this union is supposedly an institution between a man and a woman. Who says this? God so what about those who do not believe in god or are not sure of his existence are they to be denied this right as well? What about those that believe in a god but perhaps one that condones homosexual marriage does that count or not? What if both people believe but they do not take their vows seriously (as many do not) are they considered void? What if one believes and one doesn't? What if two getting married are bisexuals or swingers? You see the negative repercussions of not letting gays marry? Or can we all get off this insane topic on both sides and finally realize that we are all human beings and we are making stupid exuses for someone not to be allowed to share their love. It is no ones business who someone wants to marry unless they are underage or it is forced.
There are no negative repercussions to gays marrying the only real negative one is that many people will not be able to openly share their love with another in the fashion they choose and that being a real repercussion is one I am not personally ok with letting happen. In short get over yourselves and et them marry already It hurts no one unlike the opposite option.
