Serious gross question

Posted by Anonymous   + Show Post
I shower once, sometimes twice a day. Clean myself with soap and water.I just got in the shower and kept smelling something horrific. It was my lady bits! It didn't smell bad yesterday. I don't know what to do to make it to away!! So embarrassing!!:(
I haven't had any intercourse in 5 months so that can't be it either!

Ive always heard just soap and water. It's gental. Regular ivory soap.

Yeast? you should not EVER EVER EVER use soap on female genitals.

Could be BV or with you not having a period, could be that. The vag is a self cleaning oven and when that's stopped, it could smell. Don't douche. Try that vagisil screening kit to check your ph. If it's elevated, make your pap appt sooner.. If not, talk to your doc at your appt.

Water for the outside, nothing inside. Soap disrupts the PH balance and can cause infections- even if it hasn`t before. Deodorants, perfumes, even scented fabric softener can cause infections for some.

I don't know. I never have.

Quoting mishamama:

Who the eff douches anymore? Lol

Quoting mom2bahandcch:

It throws off the ph balance and can cause infections.

Quoting Anonymous:

I'm sure once in a great while wont hurt.

Quoting hellomilla:

Do NOT douche. Doctors frown upon it. The vagina cleans itself up in there.

Neither have I . Lol
The only person I know who ever admitted to douching, was my grandma. And she's 73, but she found out in the 80s that its bad for ya. Lol
