I change my daughter every time she pees

Even if the diaper is just a little bit wet. My mother tells me this is wasteful and that diapers are made to absorb a lot more urine and I should wait to change her until the diaper is actual wet. Do you change after every pee or try and get more use out of the diaper? My mom was a low income single mother so I think her theory might just be her being cheap.

 I check his diaper fairly often. He might have peed more than once before I noticed on some occasion, but I never let the diaper hang off his butt like I see on some kids. I wouldn't want to sit in my urine, why should he?

I don't change her every time she pees, but I don't let her get saggy butt either.

 no, it is wasteful, she could pee twice at least before the diaper needs to be changed, the dipaer is made to pull the pee away from the skin...think of the landfills

I'd literally be changing her diaper every minute on the minute. I change her every time she eats instead.

My son hated being wet he. We changed him often might not have always been right after a pee but we never let it get full , unless he slept all night long with out waking up

I have plenty of money for diapers but im not gonna waste them...I like the diaper to at least be pretty squishy....not soaked
