Okay, no, not really....at least I wasn't. My sister was though.
We took our kids to the splash pad today. Our 2 year old likes to play in the water, but not get sprayed by anything. Well, this little girl, about 12 or 13 years old, kept spraying my 2 year old with the water. I asked her nicely, a few times, to please stop. She kept doing it and was laughing as my DD screamed. So I went over there and told her she needs to stop picking on a 2 year old, that it was messed up. She started to get up in my face and started talking a bunch of crap. I asked where her mom and dad was, 'cause I was gonna talk to them about how she's being. She said they wasn't there and kept running her mouth, so I walked away.
Well, she kept spraying my DD and my sister went over there and basically told the kid off. They exchanged fat insults and whatnot and my sister walked away. This little girl just kept running her mouth, even after we ignored her.
I don't understand why parents don't do their damn jobs and teach their kids manners and respect. Who picks on a damn 2 year old?
It's not an actual water park. It's a free place offered by the city that is part of the park. Where we were standing you don't usually get sprayed with stuff, unless either the horses (that's what sprays the water) gets a powerful jet or you put your hand over it to make it go farther. This kid was deliberately spraying my kid, as well as other's. The area isn't huge. In the picture, you will see half of the area, so you can see it's not that big.
