I have an honest question. IF the US morphed into a Theocracy, who would be the one to decide the morality of the country? Who would decide what to follow?

I mean, excluding other religions and nonbelievers, just within Christianity there are so many variations in beliefs. Which one would be the "right" one? How would it work?

Good question. I think religion should be left out of politics. Believe it or not people can still have morals without God in the equation.

If that happened, I could see the government forcing everyone to be Christian. I could also see them forcing everyone to be the majority denomination. My guess is that Catholicism would rule.

I'll answer...but I am not sure if what I am going to say is exactly what you are looking for. Mostly Protestant beliefs, because Catholics are fucked up. Sorry, just putting it out there. We would just all believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior and I would let God figure out the rest.

I'm guessing it would be Catholicism, because the Catholic Church is the richest of any religion. But I really don't see it ever happening.
