Okay, thats nice.

Clinton was in office when all the family business' failed.

Obama was in office when the military got no cost of living increase.

Obama was in office when thousands of military families lost their job to cut backs.

Obama was in office when unemployment was so bad 1/2 the country was losing everything.

Obama doesn't even put his hand over his heart or wear the flag pin.

Let me guess you forgot to wear red for the troops today (every Friday) too right....

Yeah why don't you just go crawl into a hole you damn commie!

Romney,

I support the TROOPS

I believe you get what you WORK for

I do not agree with my tax dollars going to people who could work and choose not to

I carry a gun on my hip

I think the country is going down the GD toilet with that bastard in office

I think we need a great wall like in China then see if Mexicans get in illegally, or drugs and violence from cartels get it, or our weapons get out.

KEEP OUR GUNS IN THE UNITED STATES, quit allowing them to go to Mexico, just to kill their citizens, or our travelers.

Many more reasons but thats all I feel like typing

Lol. It's me. I used to be OrionsMyBabyman.

I am a conservative, not a Republican though.  I am a liberal, not a Democrat though.

I want to know who you are!!!

Quoting Anonymous:

I knew you were smarter than the "I'm voting for whoever isn't Obama" crowd. For some reason I had labeled you a conservative when you're really libertarian. I have a little more respect now.

But still anonymous. Lol

Quoting Elyce225:

Haha, not at all.  I would never say  "I will vote only to get this person out".  It's such a waste.  I mean, I am a huge Ron Paul supporter and if he got the nomination I would vote for him, but we all know that is not going to happen.

I would rather not have Romney in office, he scares the shit out of me.  He agrees with Obamacare so it's not like voting him in would make that go away.  He basically is Obama, the homophone version.  I don't care about gay people (in a good way, I don't give a shit what they do) so I would rather have Obama in who may help them vs. Romney, who will do exactly what Obama is doing, but won't help them.

I rambled on.

Love,

Non anonymous Elyce.

Oh shit for real!? I would've thought you'd die before choosing Obama. I support your current position ;)

So far I will be voting for Obama.  I don't think either are what we need right now but I can not vote a zealot into office.  If Romney does a turn around and comes to the table with something I absolutely agree with then it will be him.

Yup :)

And I agree with what you said about Ron Paul. If he got the nomination, I would vote for him, even though he isn't a Democrat, LOL.

Quoting Elyce225:

Haha!  I know, maybe the world will end before the elections and I won't have to do it ;)

Seriously though, I don't base my opinions on the D or the R.  I think that is so silly and whats wrong with out country.  At this point Obama is the better man for the job *me thinks*.

Quoting briansmommy2010:

LOL!! I agree with you. I love Elyce, but I never expected to see her choosing Obama!

Marriage pre-dates Christianity and, for all we know, it was common practice for a couple of the same sex to marry. We don't know what marriage was in the Antiquity age and I find it foolish for one to believe they do. It is very possible that Christian's bastardized the word. It is a basic human right for two people who love each other to be able to marry. And people try to redefine the word all the time...look at polygamists and swingers. In regards to Romney's faith....your religion ends where my rights begin and you shouldn't make decisions that affect other's rights simply because they go against your faith.

Quoting sheepinarowboat:

It's not a basic human right to redefine a word that has had the same meaning since the dawn of time.  And his faith is a very good reason to base his beliefs on.  Everyone acts according to their conscience and their world view.  Obama is no different.  His world view is that socialism is the way to go.  I disagree.

Quoting wittyscreenname:

That's fine. But he doesn't try to use his faith as an excuse to hate or not allow people to have their basic human rights, like marriage. One can be a Christian and remain objective at the same time.

Quoting sheepinarowboat:

Obama professes to be a christian.

Quoting wittyscreenname:

Obama.

Because I believe the Church has no reason to be in the State, I like my rights as a woman, and I support Obamacare.

Your going to have to educate me on that.  How did Romney violate the separation of church and state?

Quoting briansmommy2010:

But people don't dislike Romey BECAUSE he's a Christian. They dislike him because of his attempts to go against one of the basic principles of our country-separation of Church and State.

Quoting sheepinarowboat:

Just pointing out an inconsistency.  If you don't like a christian in leadership, then you wouldn't want Obama either.

Quoting briansmommy2010:

What does that have to do with what witty said? Being a Christian doesn't mean you have to incorporate your religion into politics. In fact, it's unconstitutional to do so.

From what I've noticed, and debated...is that most Americans who do not like him, really have no valid reason. They find excuses....or use news articles to back their theories. They don't see the positive things he's done. They want something "better". Well, realistically speaking, how much "better" could it possibly get?? No President is going to be perfect. And if they end up with a President who changes everything Obama has done, and allows the poor to suffer even more, and sends the troops back out to fight unesscessary wars....and isn't down to earth and friendly and doesn't seem to care about America as a whole....and its people...they'll all come out of woodwork, crying, regretting the day they let Obama go. Because he might not be exactly what he promised...but he's already been a hell of a lot more than Bush was....and he GENUINELY cares. GENUINELY wants to see all Americans get a fair chance in life. And being a father, GENUINELY wants the opportunites for success to be available to ALL young people, not just the ones who are preffered, or are financailly able to.

Quoting august_baby_09:

I agree with everything you wrote. I say something similar at work and always get ripped to shreds. Nice to know others think the same way I do.

Quoting SDarvasi:

I'm Canadian, but I watch your policital race closely...because who you have as President affects us too....and personally, if I was an American, I would vote Obama. Sure, he has his faults. What President doesn't? But out of all the Presidents recently (besides Clinton) he seems the most down to Earth, normal, HUMAN, compassionate and understanding. He's smart, his family is very loving, and I think he has more to offer than what America has allowed him to share. He still has rules to follow, laws to abide, and in order to pass something, he's gotta get it approved by many people before it even becomes viable.

The job of a President isn't as easy as everyone thinks. Someone will ALWAYS be unhappy. In my eyes, he's been trying to fix the things that were broken to make America a place where everyone can live happily and somewhat equally.

The press and media have done horrible things to his image, and those who are "negatively" affected by his choices are going to hate him. But most hate him out of popular opinion and fear of the unknown.

IMO.
