I'm going to school for teaching in the fall.
I'd like to start working on a half sleeve over the next several years.
Would this be a problem? I can wear 1/2 or 3/4 sleeve shirts so I can cover them. As long as they're not visible it shouldn't be a problem, correct?

Quoting FL2AK:
Make sure you can cover it. You never know where life will take you. You may later to move to an area where it would be an issue. Or later in your career they could impact promotions.

I hate that I have to cover up my tattoos, but that is what people expect in the "professional world." I wear either long sleeves, or 3/4 length sleeves to cover mine up, and if I don't I use tattoo cover up makeup. You may end up with a very accepting boss though and you may not have to!

I think it depends on the school if you can show it or not....but of course if its possible to keep covered then tattoo away :)

I'd make sure you could cover them. It's always a good rule of thumb

Teaching is dying. It's hard to find a job. Teachers are losing jobs all the time..a tattoo like that will further limit your chances. If you're ok with that, go for it.
