We are not ready to have another. I was on birth control. We are living at home with my boyfriends parents and just can't afford it. I need to finish school and so does my byfriend.

Are you aware of your rights and that open adoption is not legally enforceable? Have you talked to women that have been through this and do you know the life long consequences for you and your whole family?

Good luck hun. But, not to scare you, a good friend of mine adopted a baby after the birth mother asked for an open adoption. My friend and her husband closed the adoption. It happens. I hope whatever family you chose really keep the adoption open.
