I did not feel like putting the kids car seats in the car this morning because it is such a hassle
They had a drs appointment this morning first thing. It was raining, and I did not feel like putting their car seats in the car, and the Dr. is only 2 miles up the road. Then I got my head out of my ass and did it anyway. Because while *I* may be a defensive driver, NOT every drive on the road is. There are too many morons out there that do not pay attention to what in the hell they are doing. Especially when it rains. Good thing I got my head out of my ass too because before I even got off my road, some fuck nut pulled out in front of me and almost made me run off the road. I just DO NOT, nor will I EVER see how ANY parent can think that it is OK to NOT have their child in a car seat, AND the PROPER one, if they are supposed to be in one. I dont care HOW far you are going up the road. Get your head out of your ass and do your job and protect your damn children. "Accidents" DO happen.
Thank God I thought I was the only one that would like to have her head, just don't respond and it will go away..Have A Nice Day...

Yes, I want a award for doing what I am supposed to be doing.........
Read the whole post people. It is meant for those who think that it is OK to go places without the proper restraints for their kids. So STFU with the reward crap people.
Yeah, I am done responding to the ignorant that cannot read the whole post and get it. You have a nice day too :-)

My parents sometimes have to transport my 2 year old in a booster. Shit happens. Their backseat can't accomodate all three kids normal carseats. No one makes that a normal practice, but at least he is buckled in a car seat.
It is absolutely unacceptable for a two-year-old to be in a booster with a seat belt. The BARE minimum for boosters is three and even that is too young and immature. Your child is NOT protected.
Thank you! I do not want props. I want to shed light on the fact that things can happen. And I would never donate a used car seat.... But I have went into walmart several times and bought those that I have seen without a car seat one. And I dont need any ones praise or thanks for that either. Just trying to make sure that there is one less kid in this world riding around "in a loaded gun".

Why is everybody giving this lady props? She didn't buy a car seat for a poor family, or even donate one. She just obeyed the law....?? I mean, should we all get a pat on the back for doing something as simple as putting our children in a car seat? This website is confusing.. Very curious.
permanently? weird. We take the seats out of the cars somewhat often, for traveling, staying with grandparents, cleaning, etc... then install them back correctly. Only takes a few minutes to do it right--- but it's not "permanent"
Quoting Ekeoma:TO MAKE IT EASY, YOU SUPPOSE TO FIX THE KID CAR SEAT INSIDE PERMANANTLY. GOOD LUCK.

A car seat is better then none. I wouldn't except one but I have money, I know a few people who have had to except used ones. It's that or not have one at all. So I have givin away two car seats that were only used a few times... I agree with you that all baby's and young children should be in seats. No matter what. I just kind of expected you to get bashed cause so far everything I've read on here people are bashing... I didn't mean to piss you off, just trying to figure out why this post is acceptable, but others aren't.
