because his real name is My'King. yep, that's right. his name is pronounced my king. His preschool teacher told us she had my'king's sister in her class last year, her name is My'Queen.
My husband is the one who made that rule, the first day of preschool when we saw all the kid's names on the board. We've never really interacted with the child and he could be sweet as pie for all we know, and that would be awesome. It's nothing against him. But our son will not refer to anybody as my king or my queen.

Actually it's not. It was disrespectful for his mother to name him that in the first place. She only did it so others would have to call them "my king" and "my queen". Ridiculous, ghetto, and stupid. I wouldn't want my children saying it either.
