my lo is 8 months old and it's the first time he has sat in the pack and play and is happy. he is playing sooooo nice. he never wants me to put him down and when i try he gets upset and i nurse him to comfort him then try again. after 8 months it feels great to have both of my hands! now how long do i leave him in there? (of course ill get him if he gets upset) there is so much i could get done if this became i new thing for him!

He will tell you when he is done. It's great that he is getting some independent play!

Leave him in there until he either needs to be fed/changed or he decides he is done playing. Its ok to let them play by themselves.
