I'm taking about pitbulls. I'm sure I'm going to get bashed and your all entitled to.your opinion as am I. I have rotti pit mix. At first I was opposed to it I've heard the horror stories. But really they are just sweet loving lap dogs that are missunderstood. Most are not raised properly and some think.its so.cute that they charge after other dogs and people. My pit is the best and I will probably always have a pit now. She is gently and loving and great with my kid and his friends who are alone with my pit sometimes. She even sleeps with DS. I realize dogs can snap but so can any animal....and people. I would faster trust a dog than a person. People are fake. I see on the news about moms shooting and stabbing there kids. Leaving them on the side of the road drowning them...they did these things to their own kids. I haven't heard anything in my area recently about dogs. Probably the last.time I heard anything was 5 years ago about. People need to educate them selfsame on the breed. Hell go down to.your local shelter and volenteer so you can see how great they are.

I'm a responsible pit owner...my kid is alone with my pit and I trust my
pit more than most people. I'm tired of people who have never met me or my dog telling me how I'm a shitty mom and my pit is going to rip my sons arm off and eat him one day. Your uneducated. I also laugh at the people who say well I am educated I have my masters in teachering or whatever.. here's your sign you just proved my point. Great you can teach...you still don't know shit about dogs. I have to laugh at the responses I get.

Who loves their pit???? Do you leave your kids alone with your pit???

I'm sure there are also a million spelling.mistakes I'm mobile.with a phone that I can't turn autocorrect off and.it.loves.to. change words and add periods in randomly so if that's.the only.thing.you have to say don't bother. Yes I have been to.the phone store and asked them.to turn it.off and they can't there is.not button.to.turn it.off. my phone is a pos

OMGoodness. I HATE people sometimes! I own a pit bull and I have people all the time cross the street if im walking her!! She is a jumper. If she sees a cat or a dog she wants to play and jumps straight up like on a trampoline. NEVER over the fence. Well people freak out! (we have a 5 foot fence and she jumps higher then it)

But the good thing is my idiot neighbors ALWAYS let their dogs come to my yard to poop. Ever since rescuing Coco they freak out and if she is out they will run and get their dogs lol

But She is the best dog we have owned! She is great with the kids and is so well behaved!

We had a rottweiller puppy(13 weeks) we just gave her back to the breeder tonight actually because she has killed and EATEN 2 of my chickens!!! And attacked my baby goat! My pit just watched like OHHHH your going to get into trouble!

Here is Miss Coco playing with my goats :)

Here she is with her BEST friend! my 20 month old daughter. She does EVERYTHING my DD tells her to do! Here she is feeding her a peice of a weeping willow LOL and coco eating it!

And here she is she LOVES the trampoline!

Why do you rely on auto correct? Why not use your brain in the first place and spell correctly?

Quoting Anonymous:

Yes that is somewhat my point. Everyone attacks the breed but any dog can snap but you don't hear about the lab that snapped on someone. The only breed I ever really hear about is pits and they are really no different. That's why I put in there about the mothers.killing their kids. Kids should be safe with their parents right. Unfortunately that's not always the case. You just never know. But I would trust my pit with my kids more than some people. I would more trust my kid alone with a strange pit for 5 mins than a strange person. Obviously unless the dog is snapping and is lime a junk yard dog or something lol. Sorry for anything misspelled my phones autocorrects likes to make things not.make sense and it adds random periods lol

Quoting Anonymous:

Pit bulls are great, other large breed dogs are great. BUT they are animals. No matter how well you train them, they can still snap. And a pit bull or rotti is more likely to kill a human than a chihuahua....You can't fool yourself and think "well if I just train this dog the right way..." that's not a guarantee.

Same with your kids! You can raise them how you want, doesn't mean that's how they'll end up.

Wow. What the news doesn't tell you is how that owner that the dog attacked probably abused the dog and don't raise it properly. A dog is not a car. You can't get changes the tires or pop the hook and fix it lol. A pit needs to be raised properly. I'm not talking trained. Any dog can sit. I'm saying raised. You don't hit.your dog and teach it to growl and show teeth and then wonder why it bite you??? Its not a breed thing its an owner thing. Owners need to be responsible for their dogs and the things they show there dogs...of any breed. After a lot.of those.stories aired if you keep up with them a good chunk of those dogs were trained to fight and good loose or attacked there owners.

Quoting psalms91:

Well there are TONS of stories and tragedies about pit bulls attacking people, children, their owners etc.so if you feel good about your "pit" then so be it,but hopefully your kid will always be safe around it. Pit bulls can be like anything else...for instance,if you hear of a certain car that is known for spinning out of control for no reason and that certain kind of car has been known to do that without reason, would you still buy that car? Or would you say,"oh I am sure the car won't do that with me." Something called "common sense" should come to mind. So sad that these certain dogs have killed many people around the world, but yet and still people like you still "think" this is all some joke and these dogs would never harm anyone...boloney!

Aw! She is also our little protector but only when she senses danger. If someone tried to break in, she would know what to do. When someone is invited in,she loves on them. Being a single mom of two kids, I feel very safe with her in the house.

Quoting Anonymous:

Awesome! !! My pit sleeps on her dog bed snuggled with all 3 of my cats.

Quoting Anonymous:

I love Pitts! I almost got one but my landlady was worried about getting sued if it attacks. I tried to educate her but no dice. I ended up getting a lab/rotten mix. She is very sweet, smart and loves all humans and animals. She doesn't even bother my cats! She is awesome with my kids and I've taught them to "be gentle". I don't hit my animals(or kids) and I believe that contributes to their awesomeness.

Btw, my grandma is my landlady. When she and my grandpa pass away(hopefully not for a very long time) the house will be in my name. Then, I might get a Pitt.

I don't.rely.on autocorrect I.simply.can't turn it.off. I even went to.the store to see.if they could turn.it.off. probably why they don't.make this.Model anymore. It also adds it periods randomly. Lol I.just just fed up with having.to.go back.to.fix it.all cause as you can its a lot.
